Profitability of Open Source companies is a key to the widespread of Open Source in industry. This document provides an analysis of the profile of current Open Source companies through a questionnaire that were sent to some. This questionnaire was designed to identify the different characteristics of Open Source companies such as size, size of customers, technical fields, activity, revenue sources, repartition between the functions and activity on Open Source.
