The overall goal of the QualiPSo project is to define and implement technologies, procedures and policies to leverage the OSS development current practices to sound and well recognised and established industrial operations.
The main goal of Activity5 is the identification, quantification, and assessment of the quality factors related to the software products as well as to the artefacts produced during software development that affect trt in OSS products, with emphasis on functional and non-functional factors.
The aim of this course is to contribute directly to the goals of Activity5 via the identification of technological pre-requisites and requirements allowing the establishment of common test and benchmark approaches as key quality factors.
In summary, the course covers description of:

  • Existing open source software testing techniques
  • Approaches for Software Testing Improvement

According with this view the course includes seven lessons:

  • Overview
  • Open Source Software Testing Techniques
  • Software Testing
  • Functional Testing
  • Performance Testing
  • OSS-TMM – Open Source Software Testing
  • T-Doc Framework
  • collecting Dynamic Metrics using AOP

A test is also part of the course.
